This past week 13 new building permits were issued across Alabama for construction projects exceeding $1 million. These mostly included projects within the Birmingham metro, with one exception—a renovation project at the Church of the Highlands campus in Auburn.

A $1.4 million building permit was issued for the campus this past week, as renovations include exterior upgrades and some campus expansion.

Renovations to the Church of the Highlands Auburn campus include:

  • Parking lot enhancements
  • Expanded campus green
  • New meeting room
  • An enhanced kid experience
  • LED wall in the worship space
  • New interior finishes + branding
