Seohan Auto USA, the North American manufacturing subsidiary of South Korea-based Seohan Group, has announced plans to to expand its operations at the Auburn Technology Park West.

The expansion is expected to come with a $64 million investment along with adding about 70 jobs over the next three years.

Construction is expected to be completed by December 2027.

Seohan Auto USA expanding in Auburn

Seohan Auto USA manufactures suspension and chassis components for leading global automotive manufacturers, including Hyundai Motor and Kia.

This expansion will include the construction of Plant III which is expected to support the growth of Seohan’s automotive customer base.

The updated facility should strengthen the company’s North American operations and increase its capacity for machining, assembly and warehousing.

The City of Auburn said this project will also provide the infrastructure necessary to support future production expansion.

“The investment is expected to contribute to the local economy while strengthening partnerships with regional suppliers and supporting Auburn’s continued growth as a major automotive manufacturing center.”
