Alabama spot named to USA Today’s 10Best Golf Destinations

There are a lot of great places to enjoy a round of golf across Alabama. But there may only be one place you can play a variety of courses in one weekend without changing hotels.

The Orange Beach + Gulf Shores area is home to roughly 15 different golf courses and USA Today has taken notice.

The national media outlet nominated the area + readers selected it as one of the 10Best Golf Destinations in the country.

Gulf Shores + Orange Beach came in at No. 6 in USA Today’s annual 10Best list.

It’s hard to separate the two destinations from one another when it comes to options for golfers, helping it stand out among the best in the country.

“There are a whopping 15 top-notch courses to play in the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach area, making it an attractive winter getaway spot for golfers.
