It’s that time of the year again. The next online public state surplus property auction opens this Saturday, May 18.

The Surplus Property Division of the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs will hold the auction from 7:30AM Saturday, May 18 until Sunday, May 26, 6:00PM.

Some of the items available at this auction include:

  • Electronics
  • Bicycles
  • Agricultural equipment
  • Cars
  • Trucks and van

Starting on Saturday, all auction items will be listed at GovDeals.com.

Want to inspect the auction items? 

See the inventory at the Surplus Property Division’s Montgomery Distribution Center at 4590 Mobile Highway from 8:00AM to 3PM Wednesday, May 22, to Friday, May 24. Or open up the State’s surplus Flickr page and take a look.

What if you can’t make this auction? They are held several times a year, but if you are a qualified nonprofit, surplus items are available throughout the year.
