Auburn vs. Ole Miss baseball

The Tigers were the final of three in-state teams to secure a spot in the Super Regional round, following Alabama and Troy. Alabama is the only state with three teams still remaining in the tournament.

Auburn had to battle through several weather delays and long nights (which included heavily discounted hot dogs + beer for fans). But the crowds stuck around to see the Tigers clinch their spot late Monday night.

The Tigers are now two wins away from securing their first trip to Omaha since 2022 and the program’s seventh trip ever.

Ole Miss and Auburn did not face each other during the regular season this year, making this weekend the first meeting since May 2025 when the Rebels took two of three in Oxford.
