Auburn, Georgia look to bounce back in Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry: How to watch + complete in-state Week 6 schedule

The drama of the Alabama-Georgia game took most of the spotlight for Week 5 of the college football season but there’s still a lot of football to be played.

The Bulldogs are hoping to bounce back when they host Auburn in a game know as The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry. The Crimson Tide also hit the road, traveling to Nashville, while Troy gets the in-state slate of games started Thursday night.

Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry

This will be the 129th all-time meeting between Auburn and Georgia. The two teams first met in 1892 and have played every season since 1944.

Here’s some key numbers heading into Saturday:

  • 128: Georgia leads series, 64-56-8
  • 7: Bulldogs have won seven straight games in the series and 16 of the last 19
  • 27-20: #1 Georgia survived a trip to Auburn last year

The Tigers and Bulldogs will meet at Sanford Stadium with kickoff scheduled for 2:30PM on ABC.
