Challenging road trips for in-state teams highlight Week 2 schedule + how to watch

Just four teams from Alabama got into the win column during the first week of the college football season but there’s still plenty of time to bounce back.

While the Crimson Tide and Tigers are home again, this week’s slate of games is filled with some difficult road trips for some of the state’s smaller schools.

Week 1 recap

There were several lopsided final scores from the first full week of the season but you may have missed out on a little bit of drama if you were busy watching the freshmen shine in Tuscaloosa or Auburn.

Week 2 schedule

Auburn will be back at Jordan-Hare Stadium for its toughest non-conference game of the season. Meanwhile, Alabama’s game could be less about the opponent on the field and more about the dedication to former coach Nick Saban.

Troy, Samford and Jacksonville State will all be hitting the road for what could be each team’s toughest game of the season. UAB and South Alabama will also have away games this weekend while Alabama State and North Alabama play their home openers.
