Take your drink to go
When a part of town officially becomes an entertainment district, it opens the door for food trucks, outdoor entertainment, to-go alcoholic drinks and more. You can buy your fave drinks from participating restaurants/bars, bring them outside with you and drink as you peruse the district.
In Clanton, several restaurants and bars now have the opportunity to serve alcoholic drinks to go, as long as they’re in specially-designated cups. Peach Entertainment District spans across 7th St and includes landmarks like Clanton City Hall, Corner Park, Chilton Court House and more.
According to The Clanton Advertiser, The Bearded Peach is the closest establishment to Corner Park that serves alcohol. They have a wide selection of domestic draft beers, wines and more. Other spots in the district that serve alcohol include:
These businesses have the opportunity to throw outdoor events with food + drinks in the future. Cheers!
Enjoy the party
Peach Entertainment District will be open Monday through Saturday from 5PM until midnight—perfect timing now that the weather is warming up and the sun goes down a little later than usual.
Drinks purchased from outside of the district will not be allowed into the district. To-go drinks must be in specialized containers.
So, what are you waiting for? Grab a drink and enjoy all that downtown Clanton has to offer.
