20 of the best racing venues in the country have been nominated for USA Today’s 10Best NASCAR Tracks including Alabama’s own Talladega Superspeedway.
Now, you have a chance to help ‘Dega get to the top spot. And what better time to do it than Talladega week!
Head over to the USA Today 10Best website where you can vote for the speedway once per day through Monday, April 28. Results will be announced on May 7th. (With a week to go, Talladega was ranked 10th so get to voting!)

For many racing enthusiasts, attending a NASCAR race is a must-do event. The NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Craftsman Truck Series are hosted on tracks scattered across the country
USA Today wants to know which is the best + its letting the readers make the final decision.
Pocono Raceway won the voting competition last year and is on top of the leaderboard with a week to go. Meanwhile, Talladega finished 9th last year, making its return to the top 10 for the first time since 2015.
“The biggest, baddest track on the schedule, the 2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway is synonymous with speed and excitement. Race lap averages routinely hit 190 miles per hour, and every driver in the field dreads ‘The Big One’ where one mishap results in a massive wreck that collects a dozen cars or more.”
