The Downtown Mobile Alliance, a nonprofit that works to better the downtown area, wants your help deciding what projects to take on next. They’re taking comments on a public survey. We’ll tell you about the survey and how you can contribute your two cents.

Stakeholder’s Survey

The Alliance is calling this a ‘Stakeholder’s Survey’, deeming everyone who works, visits and owns a business in downtown Mobile a ‘stakeholder’ in its success. The survey is only 20 questions long and asks for input on topics like:

  • Is lighting downtown at night sufficient?
  • Do you feel downtown is safe?
  • The potential addition of historical markers & signage
  • Cleaning up downtown Mobile: litter, sidewalks, dilapidated buildings

You can take the survey HERE.

The Downtown Alliance has been working since 2006 to make a cleaner, safer and livelier downtown Mobile. It also encompasses the Downtown Mobile District Management Corporation (DMDMC), which works with the City to bring services like litter pickup and beautification committees to the Business Improvement District. The Alliance hosts self-guided walking tours of Downtown Mobile, created a restaurant map, and plants flowers around town.
