Upland Park is a huge new development coming to Huntsville—here are 3 things we know

Coming soon to Huntsville! Upland Park will become Huntsville’s premier lifestyle community. Here, you’ll be able to live, work, eat, shop and more. You can expect the new $200 million multi-use development by the end of 2022. Keep reading for the details.
1. Upland Park will open 800 residential units
The project will feature multifamily and senior living residences. Beyond residential units, Upland Park will also offer restaurants, retail, offices, entertainment and public green spaces for residents and visitors to enjoy. Whether your living situation requires one, two or even three bedrooms, you’ll find your perfect space at Upland Park.
Here are the planned residential unit types:
- The Kelvin, a 301-unit Class-A community
- Vitality at Upland Park, a 189-unit Class-A senior-care project
- The Collins, a 334-unit Class-A multifamily community
Within The Collins, there will be 150 Big House units. The Big House units will be stand-alone homes with private garages and entrances, designed by Humphreys & Partners.
2. Research Park welcomes Upland Park
Upland Park, covering 60 acres, will be located on Enterprise Way at Cummings Research Park. Research Park is close to some of Huntsville’s best dining, shopping and entertainment. Upland Park will be a great location if you’re looking to get out and explore Huntsville.
3. This is a Nicol Investment Company project
Nicol Investment Company searches for well-located areas in the Southeast to develop and invest in and has chosen Huntsville as their location for this project. Nicol Investment Company has partnered up with Nashville-based Centric Architecture, ESA and Vintage South.
