New $60M ‘Jubilee Park’ proposed in Mobile County

Earlier this month, Leisure Sports & Recreation LLC revealed a proposal for a 90-acre multi-use development to the Mobile County Commission.
The Louisiana-based company’s proposal for Jubilee Park includes:
- Outdoor/Indoor Waterpark
- Multi-use sports facilities
- Festival grounds + amphitheater
- Public park
- RV + bungalow stays
- Retail shops + restaurants
The proposal would put the water park and rec center on Halls Mill Road, nearby the $19 million aquatic center that’s already under construction.
The county commission still has to officially approve of the partnership before anything else can move forward. This is currently still just a proposal and everything about Jubilee Park is considered conceptual at this point.
However, the company did not go into some detail during the county commission meeting, saying parts of the park could open as early as 2027. The indoor + outdoor water park could open by Spring 2029.
