NEW: Alabama farmers’ markets rankings are in—see who made the list

Even though summer is (finally) coming to a close, farmers’ markets are still on our minds. After all, they’re the best place to pick up local pumpkins and squashes for all your autumn baking. The American Farmland Trust just released their 2023 fan-favorite list, and here are how Alabama markets stacked up.

Coming in first place was the Farmers Market at the Tuscaloosa River Market. Here’s what American Farmland Trust had to say about it:

But this isn’t the first time the Farmers Market at the Tuscaloosa River Market has gotten the top spot—it did last year, too. Nationwide, it placed 70th, and in the Southeast, it came in 21st place.
