A hot spot for hot chicken is coming to Alabama, according to Franchising.com. Here’s what you need to know about Dave’s Hot Chicken and its arrival in Alabama.
What is Dave’s Hot Chicken?
Dave’s Hot Chicken has an interesting story that started in 2017. Four friends came together to find the ultimate hot chicken recipe, and set up a pop-up shop in East Hollywood to sell it. With a little help from social media buzz, the concept took off and the friends started opening brick-and-mortar locations.
FUN FACT: In 2021, rapper and music artist Drake invested in Dave’s Hot Chicken.
On Dave’s Hot Chicken’s menu, you’ll find it’s pretty simple—and there’s a lot of hot chicken. You can get it as tenders or sliders, served at your heat level of choice—with options ranging from “No Spice” all the way to “The Reaper.” On the side, you’ve got options like crinkle-cut fries, mac n’ cheese and kale slaw. For a sweet finish, their classic milkshakes don’t disappoint.

“In each new market we enter, we are met with a warm and embracing reception from the community. Having the chance to introduce our brand to more guests is a significant privilege.
Choosing our first location and then launching subsequent openings in these markets is a venture we eagerly look forward to.”
