There was plenty of excitement swirling in central Alabama when the state opened its first Cook Out restaurant in 2016.

Now, just eight years later, the company has 13 franchises opened in the state including a new one in East Gadsden.

Keep reading to learn more about the newest Cook Out restaurant + see what other two locations are expected to open in Alabama soon.

Cook Out in Gadsden

If you’re in Gadsden, you can head to the east side of the Coosa River in downtown Gadsden to pick up one of the popular trays from Cook Out. Here’s what you need to know about the new location:

  • Location: 303 E Meighan Blvd, Gadsden, AL 35903
  • Hours: 10:30AM-3AM, Sunday-Thursday | 10:30AM-4AM, Friday + Saturday
  • Menu

It may not be possible to have the wrong order when you get one of the tray combos but if you’re just stopping in for a snack, we’d recommend a chicken quesadilla or corn dog. If you’re looking for a dessert, get creative with the milkshake menu.

2 others opening soon

The two newest additions to Alabama’s roster of Cook Out restaurants are coming soon to Lower Alabama.

Mobile already has one restaurant just off the campus of the University of South Alabama. Another one will open soon in the city, this one located closer to the airport at 775 Shillenger Rd South.

Another Cook Out will open in Dothan, next to the Wiregrass Commons shopping center.

Once those two new locations open, there will be 15 total Cook Out restaurants in Alabama.
