New Del Taco location now open in Opelika

One of the most popular quick-service Mexican restaurants in the country has opened a new location in Alabama. Del Taco announced the opening of its third Alabama spot, on Pepperell Parkway in Opelika.

The new location — which opened February 28 — marks the third restaurant for franchisee and Alabama native Clay Gullatt. It is one of the first openings of the company’s 60^th anniversary year.

This Opelika location will feature double drive-thru lanes and third-party pick-up stations for orders placed via the restaurant’s mobile app and food delivery providers, allowing guests and delivery drivers to skip the line.
