New Goodwill store + donation center sets opening date in Demopolis

A new Goodwill thrift store and donation center will open in west Alabama later this month.
Alabama Goodwill Industries have announced its latest location, opening a new facility in Demopolis. The grand opening event is scheduled for July 30 at 9AM and it will include:
- Giveaways and balloons for kids
- Ribbon cutting ceremony with remarks from President & CEO Dewayne Cuffie + the Demopolis Chamber of Commerce
- Cookout with free lunch for shoppers and donors
The new location will be at the Demopolis Towne Center on US Highway 80 behind Batter Up and El Zarape.
Alabama Goodwill Industries locations
The nonprofit organization has locations in 38 counties across the state, led by a volunteer Board of Directors from Alabama.
