Florence folks, this one’s for you. The rumors are true—Struts on Pine made it’s way into the historic Struts building and they’re hosting a grand opening tomorrow, August 16. Keep reading for all the details.
Always a good time at Struts on Pine
Struts on Pine made their debut through social media last week and now, they’re inviting everyone to their grand opening. Serving delicious food, mixed drinks and a guaranteed good time, Struts on Pine will be your new fav.
We talked with owner Todd Wheeler about his eagerness to bring a classic, comfort-food spot to his hometown.
“I couldn’t wait to get back to the small town I grew up in. I might be biased, but I believe that Alabama is the best place to live.”

Wheeler said that the goal of this restaurant was to get away from pre-battered and frozen ingredients. If you’re longing for that feel-good Southern food, this is the place for you.
Some of Todd’s most anticipated menu items include the shrimp and grits and pork chops, but he believes that there is something on the menu for everyone.
