2023 Wheelchair Basketball National Champions
While National Championship titles and Tide are most often associated with football, other Alabama athletic teams have quite a few titles themselves.
This year, both the men’s and women’s wheelchair basketball teams from the University of Alabama became national champs:
- In March, the Crimson Tide won their fourth national championship title in men’s college wheelchair basketball.
- Also in March, Alabama won their ninth national championship title in women’s college wheelchair basketball.
Needless to say, the Sand Mountain Showdown will be an incredible display of athleticism and skill.
