This year the world’s longest yard sale is back and better than ever from August 5-8, 2021. Ready to plan your trip or become a vendor? Read on to find out more.
So, what makes it the longest yard sale?
The yard sale stretches mostly along Highway 127 starting in Addison, MI and ending in Gadsden, AL. The yard sale ends up stretching 690 miles through 6 states! This really is the longest yard sale.
When and where?
Have time for a small road trip this weekend? Check out this route that has all the deets for your weekend adventure. There isn’t a specific time for when vendors will open. Some are open as early as 8:00 am and continue till dark. So, keep a look-out for the time local vendors open.
When you’re traveling, check out a few of these fun spots in Alabama along the route:
- Desoto State Park and Desoto Falls
- Little River Canyon National Preserve (fun for all ages—there’s hiking and waterfalls)
- Noccalula Falls (check out one of the largest vendor stops here)

Who can become a vendor?
Good news! If you have a yard, whether it’s your business or home, you can be a vendor. Different states have different setups for vendors, so be sure to check out if there is a space for you.
