Game days in Tuscaloosa are back! Coming September 3 is the first game of the Alabama football season. Here are the top five places in Tuscaloosa to sit back and watch the game. Keep reading for more details, along with our favorite orders at each spot.

1. Innisfree

You’ll find your diehard Alabama fans here at Innisfree. The game day atmosphere here is unbeatable, with a menu that features wings, Ruebens, burgers and more. Although, I recommend the fish and chips! This Irish-style pub is a local favorite, nestled in the center of the Tuscaloosa strip—a perfect location for Alabama fans wanting to get in on the action. For all my 21+ readers, this restaurant turns into a bar after 10 PM, so you can stay and celebrate that Bama win.

2. Taco Mama

I don’t know about you, but I love tacos as much as I love watching the Tide. Taco Mama has been a long-time favorite for everyone. They offer outdoor patio seating and a great view of the Tuscaloosa strip. On their menu, you’ll find something for everyone. They serve margaritas (of course), beer, wine and great food options such as my personal favorite, their “cheezy beef” taco.

3. World of Beer (W.O.B)

The only thing that tastes better than an Alabama victory is W.O.B’s craft beers and their American-style food. A fan-favorite being their flatbreads! This upscale “pub grub” will satisfy all your foodie needs. W.O.B has a fun sports atmosphere that is warm and inviting. With a drink menu that features over 350 types of beer, from IPAs to Stouts, they have it all.

4. Buffalo Phil’s

Nothing is a better pair than wings and football. Buffalo Phil’s has been a long-time classic for all of Tuscaloosa. With a bar, rooftop, outdoor and indoor seating they’ve got it taken care of. With a location less than half a mile from the stadium, you’ll feel like you’re actually there. There are plenty of televisions throughout, so you won’t miss any of the action. My personal favorite game day food is their buffalo chicken dip.

5. Moe’s BBQ

BBQ, beer, and Bama football is calling my name this fall. If that sounds like the perfect combination, then this is the place for you! The menu offers ribs, pulled pork, and more southern favorites. This lively environment will keep you on your feet all night. If you’re looking for a good time, you’ll find it here without a doubt. Don’t forget to try their Bushwhacker, a mashup of a chocolate milkshake and a piña colada!
