Trader Joe’s sets opening date for third Alabama store

The highly-anticipated opening for a new Trader Joe’s store in Hoover has an official date: May 14.
This will be the company’s third store in Alabama which also includes one at The Summit in Birmingham and another in Huntsville’s MidCity District.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Location: 1769 Montgomery Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35244
- Opening date: Wednesday, May 14 | Ribbon cutting ceremony at 9AM
- Hours: 9AM-9PM Daily
Trader Joe’s in Hoover
The 9,500 square-foot store comes to a storefront near the intersection of Highway 31 and Highway 150. Trader Joe’s is located in between Michael’s and the former Bed, Bath & Beyond store in Riverchase Crossings.
The nationwide grocer chain is known for its variety of products without having any of the big name brands. You can find everything from fresh meat, fruit and veggies to frozen meals + baking mixes.
