As if there wasn’t enough in North Alabama to be excited about, let’s get ready to welcome City Harbor at Lake Guntersville. This lakefront property is going to offer upscale restaurants, accommodations and retail. Set to open in the spring, City Harbor will be accessible to you by land and lake. 1. Dining on Lake Guntersville
With four new exciting restaurants coming to City Harbor, you’re bound to find a new favorite. Whether you’re craving a steak, Mexican or even a burger, you’ll be satisfied by what will be cooking at City Harbor.

- Big Mike’s Steakhouse
- The Wake Eatery
- La Esquina Cocina
- Another Broken Egg
City Harbor is excited about The Cigar Room and Levi’s, an outdoor bar known for its music and named after the owner’s grandson.
City Harbor will also welcome Southern Brewers Co-Operative, a collaborative brewpub featuring Birmingham’s Good People Brewing and Avondale Brewing, Tuscaloosa’s Druid City Brewing, and Straight to Ale from Huntsville. All of these Alabama brands will come together to brew on the lake. What’s better than a brew with a view?
2. A place to call your own for the night
Don’t already own a place at Lake Guntersville? No problem.
City Harbor is going to offer condos right on the lake for you to stay in. If you’re in need of a vacation or even a stay-cation, these upscale condos will be rented on a nightly basis.
The condos will include two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a balcony overlooking Lake Guntersville.
