What to expect
Just for you, we’ve included a video from the second annual Honey Festival. Let this serve as a sneak peek.
There will be specialty vendors, food trucks and live music. Take a look at the vendors you’ll find at the festival. I always like to scout out which vendors I’m looking forward to most.
What would the Honey Festival be without live bees? You’ll also be able to check out the Bee-Lab. Here, you’ll be able to watch the bees in a viewing area.
You can also talk with local beekeepers in the drone congregation area (DCA). Did you know a DCA is where honey bees mate? Honey bees mate high above the ground. The more you know!
Ensuring a safe festival for all
The Honey Festival will follow the CDC guidelines for outdoor activities.
While masks are not required, they are encouraged. For the safety of others, the Honey Festival asks that you stay home if you have been experiencing symptoms or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19.
