Yellowhammer Brewing brings 2 new wines to Huntsville
Reading time: 2 minutes
Since opening in 2010, Huntsville’s Yellowhammer Brewing has been the go-to spot for all your craft beer needs. Now, you can add wine to that list! Here are the details on their two new delicious wines!
Craft Beer for a Modern South
Yellowhammer Brewing opened in West Huntsville in 2010, founded by four guys who wanted to bring good, traditional beer to Alabama. The brewery crafts premium ales and lagers with inspiration from Belgian and German brewing traditions—with a Southern twist.
The beer experts pride themselves on using only high-quality ingredients, whether it is candy syrup from Belgium or lime leaves from California.
Yellowhammer Brewing has a selection of over 20 seasonal and year round craft beers and spirits that include:
- Vodka
- Gin
- Whiskey
- Rum
Introducing Yellowhammer’s taproom wines
If you’re not a big beer fan, don’t fret. Earlier this year, Yellowhammer Brewing announced their take on two must-try wines, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Sounds dee-lish, right?
Bride of Frankenhammer Belgian Dark Ale
There’s a ton of delicious beer at Yellowhammer, too—like their Ephemeral Style Helles Bock. It was brewed with:
- Single origin Accordine barley from Germany
- Hallertau Mittelfruh hops
- Water
- And house lager yeast
According to Yellowhammer Brewing, this Belgian dark ale was created to mimic the 1516 ‘Purity Law’ by Duke Wilhelm IV of Bavaria.
Faith Healer Tripel
If you are looking for something a little sweeter, the Faith Healer Tripel is a great choice.
