4 Red Lobster locations in Alabama temporarily closed

Red Lobster has temporarily closed four locations in Alabama.
Earlier this week reports about the venerable seafood chain sporadically closing restaurants began to trickle out nationwide.
On Monday, TAGeX Brands announced they were auctioning off equipment at 48 locations, including two from Alabama in Decatur and Auburn.
List of the Red Lobster closings
As of Wednesday, May 15, four Alabama Red Lobster restaurants were listed as temporarily shuttered on their website.
They are:
- Huntsville, 1818 University Drive N.W., Huntsville. AL. 35801
- Decatur, 2027 Beltline Road S.W., Decatur, AL 35601
- Auburn, 1805 Opelika Road, Auburn, AL 36830
- Mobile, 3941 Airport Blvd., Mobile, AL 36608
Seven Red Lobster restaurants remain open statewide in Birmingham, Dothan, Florence, Gadsden, Montgomery, Oxford and Tuscaloosa.
According to a report by ABC News, the chain has been looking at filing bankruptcy since last month.
