With tons of charming restaurants, cocktail bars, coffee shops and more, the Auburn-Opelika area has always been a great place to live & visit. And now, it’s getting even better. Several exciting new shops & restaurants have popped up in the last year, adding even more fun things to do. We picked out 5 recent openings you need to visit on your next trip to Auburn & Opelika!

1. The Well

This tea room is one of the most stunning places to see in Opelika. With two floors and many beautifuly themed rooms, there is a spot for everyone here. Not only does The Well sell tea, but they offer many clean foods and specialty drinks. This a space for women to gather and come together over a collection of other women’s products. 2. Blade and Barrel

Last month, Auburn officially got an axe throwing venue right in the heart of Midtown. Blade & Barrel is the perfect place to go with friends, family and coworkers to try something out of the ordinary. Since each of the nine lanes can hold six guests, it’s the perfect venue for your next outing in Auburn.

3. Cheetos

Cheetos is definitely a unique experience you do not want to miss out on. This Korean fusion dessert cafe has a fun enviornment and amazing food and drinks. Come with an open mind to try new things, and you will not be disappointed. Cheetos is an adventure right in your own neighborhood.

4. Mo’ Bay Beignet Co.

Mo’ Bay Beignet Co. has a brand new location right on the main strip of downtown Auburn. It has been recieved wonderfully by the Auburn community. What could be better than grabbing a beignet for breakfast or a late night snack? Get a taste of Mobile right from Auburn.

5. Rock’N Roll Pinball

Feeling nostalgiac for the good ole’ pinball days? Come with the whole family to check out Rock’N Roll Pinball in historic Downtown Opelika and stay for endless games. They have a weekly trivia night and live music every Saturday night. While you’re there, don’t forget about the draft beer and snacks available. Plus, it is only a few doors down from Easterday Antiques.

It is important to keep up with all the new openings where you live so that you can take full advantage of these places.
