1. Huntsville Skate Park
Whether you’ve just bought your first skateboard or you’re a total pro, there’s going to be a spot for you to work on perfecting your ollie. Thanks to Team Pain Skateparks, the new $2 million skate park will open at John Hunt Park.
Here’s what we know about it:
- 52,000 square feet
- Custom-made bowls
- Snake runs
- Three-quarter pipe bowl
It will be located between Kids Space and the Championship Soccer Fields.

2. The Cheesecake Factory
The Cheesecake Factory is open at Bridge Street Town Centre. Since it opened, there has been a line outside the building. Have you been yet? We got to go for a training event before the opening.
Trust me, it was as delicious as you’d expect. With so many options, how are you supposed to pick one piece of cheesecake?

3. Slim Chickens
This chicken spot was such a favorite, it came back for seconds. Its second Madison location is now open. Don’t be surprised if you see even more Slim Chickens popping up in Alabama.

4. Scooter’s Coffee
This one is for the coffee lovers out there. Scooter’s Coffee, your new favorite spot for a cup of joe, is coming to Huntsville. There will be a drive-thru to pick up coffee drinks, smoothies, teas and delicious breakfast food items.

5. Just Love Coffee Cafe
Even more good news for coffee lovers, Just Love Coffee is open for business! Huntsvillians have loved the Huntsville location, so it only seemed right to expand. This is the perfect place for a caffeine fix or a breakfast stop.
