Auburn has many charming restaurants, cocktail bars, coffee shops and other cool places to visit, but the shopping is definitely high up there on the list. There is something very special about a local boutique that just makes it better than all those huge stores. My friends and I spent the afternoon finding the best local shopping spots (and doing some real damage) in Auburn. Follow along with this guide to 6 unique local boutiques in Auburn!
1. Therapy
If you are looking to do some retail therapy (pun intended) anytime soon, then head on over to this neat boutique. Therapy Boutique has all the trends of the season and more. They carry a great selection of party accessories too, like cute cups and plates. My personal favorite part is the sale rack in the back right before the dressing rooms.

2. Charming Oaks
Named after Auburn’s famous and beloved trees, Charming Oaks is definitely a classic. It has a huge, wide open space full of cute clothes to search through. I have always thought that they have the perfect mix of casual versus fancier clothes-and with reasonable prices. This cute light up sign that you see is on the back wall with all of these trendy shoes (Charming Oaks is your best bet when it comes to shoes).
3. Behind the Glass
Behind the Glass is an Auburn girl’s best friend. They have the best clothes and the cutest miscellaneous gift items. Don’t miss out on the upstairs portion of the store where the sale section is. BTG always has fun things going on, like sales and giveaways, so keep up to date on their social media.

4. Elisabet Boutique
Elisabet Boutique was awarded 2020 Boutique of the Year, so you will definitely want to visit! We had a great time in here looking through their clothing picks. You can really get the local feel in this tiny but cute shop. We think this would be the perfect spot to find a party dress or daytime outfit.

5. Ellie Clothing
Right across the street, and through a pretty purple door, you can find Ellie Clothing! This boutique is a great place to come find a more casual, cute outfit. The clothes are not the only good part though, we found Ellie Clothing to be very aesthetically pleasing with chandeliers and the beautiful “Ellie” mural.

6. The Locker Room
This one is for the guys. The Locker Room is the spot to find the finest men’s clothing in town. Ladies, come get your boyfriend, husband, brother, father, or friend something really nice from this store. They will be the best looking men out there all geared up in their orange and blue. Plus, it is in the best location, right downtown, where there aren’t any other men’s clothing spots.
