Auburn, Alabama is full of amazing things to see and places to visit. Because of the fact that it is a college town, the students know exactly where all of the best spots are. Here are the top 7 places every college kid loves to go, in no particular order!

1. Samford Lawn

Samford lawn is a go-to spot for Auburn students. You can find them here on any given day throwing the frisbee or laying out on a blanket with friends. There will never not be some fun activity going on at this iconic location.

2. Toomer’s Drugs

Toomer’s Drugs is one of Auburn’s oldest traditions. Are you really an Auburn student if you haven’t enjoyed their famous lemonade on a hot day? This downtown street corner is always packed with students and residents alike waiting to get some of Toomer’s delicious food and drinks. Plus, it’s right next to Auburn Art, one of the amazing art galleries in the city.

3. Town Creek Park

Town Creek Park is only a short walk away from campus, so it is the perfect spot for students to get away to. Here you can find a beautiful walking trail, swinging benches, and a peaceful pond. It is a definite go-to for any student needing to clear their mind.

4. SkyBar Cafe

Every college student loves this downtown bar! SkyBar gets its fun reputation from the live music, multiple levels, and amazing karaoke. At night you can see its fire torches light up and draw people inside.

Auburn is proud to be home to the very first Momma Goldberg’s Deli ever. This restaurant is an Auburn staple, and college students come here to get a yummy sandwich and watch the tigers in whatever sports they are playing in. Its nostalgic character and timeless history make it such a lovable place.
