ACDI Business Center in Auburn among 16 new building permits
This past week, 16 new building permits were issued statewide for construction projects exceeding $1 million. Of these, seven are for projects in North Alabama, three are in the Birmingham metro, two are in Montgomery and and two are in the Tuscaloosa area.

Auburn Center for Developing Industries Business Center
A $4.8 million building permit was issued last week at the Auburn Industrial Park. This project involves construction of a new 7,000 square foot facility to service as the Auburn Center for Developing Industries (ACDI) Business Center.
The facility will include training, classroom, conference, office and event space to serve Auburn-area industries, Southern Union State Community College, Auburn University, the City of Auburn and its Industrial Development Board.
Whatley Construction is listed as the lead contractor on this project.
