North Alabama industrial building + 15 more new building permits
This past week, 16 new building permits were issued for construction projects in Alabama exceeding $1 million. Of those permits, 10 are for projects in the Birmingham metro.
Four projects are in North Alabama and two are in Tuscaloosa. Here’s more info on these new high-dollar building permits:
Speculative industrial building project in North Alabama
One of the new building permits issued this past week is a new 150,000 square foot pre-engineered metal industrial building facility in Florence. This part of a joint project spearheaded by the Shoals Economic Development Authority.
Doster Construction is listed as the lead contractor for the project and CREATE Architects of Florence is the designer.
In addition to the industrial building facility in Florence, the project includes the 250,000-square foot Shoals Research Airpark speculative building.
