College campuses across Lower Alabama covered in snow [PHOTOS]

Earlier this month, we saw universities and colleges in the northern half of Alabama get its fair share of snow for the year. But that’s something some of those campuses are relatively used to seeing.
However, the colleges further south got to experience a historic winter weather event on Tuesday, Jan. 21. Students were taking advantage of the rare opportunity and so were photographers.
It’s not every day we get to see places like Auburn, Troy and especially South Alabama transform into a winter wonderland.
So let’s take a look at some of the best sights from campuses around Lower Alabama.
Auburn University
University of South Alabama in Mobile
It was no surprise to see USA covered in snow as the City of Mobile had a record-breaking 7.5 inches of snow Tuesday.
