INFAC purchased an existing 160,000 square foot building in the Auburn Technology Park West. Part of the company’s investment helped complete a renovation of the site.

In its Alabama facility, INFAC will operate with a “sophisticated and clean production environment” for manufacturing supplies for global automakers, including:

  • Hyundai
  • Kia
  • General Motors
  • Chrysler

“A lot of hard work and collaboration has occurred to get us to this moment, and we acknowledge the leadership of INFAC who, after evaluation of the company’s needs and of our community, determined Auburn is the right place to plant their roots. We look forward to watching them succeed and to the opportunities they will bring to our area’s workforce.”

Ron Anders, Auburn mayor

INFAC North America was established in Kentucky in September 2008. Since then, they have produced auto parts such as:

  • Control cables
  • Horns
  • Antennas
  • Feeder cables

“INFAC has built an impressive legacy of innovation and success over more than five decades, and we are proud that Alabama is part of the company’s continued growth. With a skilled workforce, a strong business climate and dedicated partners at the state and local levels, Auburn offers the resources and support INFAC needs to build on that success for years to come.”

Ellen McNair, Secretary of the Alabama Department of Commerce
