12 new million-dollar-plus construction permits approved in Alabama, Dec 13th
We’ve got the inside scoop on 12 new million-dollar-plus construction permits awarded to contractors in Alabama last week, including the first phase of a new subdivision in Hoover. Keep reading for information like contractor names, contracts, permits values, project addresses and much more.
1. North Ridge Subdivision, Phase II (Cullman, Alabama)
- Project Cost: $2,367,000
- Project Address: County Road 1402, Cullman, AL 35055
- Project: North Ridge Subdivision Phase 2
- Owner of Project: Davidson Homes
- Contractor/Builder: Davidson Homes
Earlier this year, we reported that Huntsville-based Davidson Homes was developing a new single-family home community in Cullman. Called North Ridge, the community includes 60+ homes available in nine buildable plans. Ranging from $290’s to $400’s, North Ridge homes are conveniently located near I-65, Downtown Cullman and the city’s Historic Warehouse District.
Now, Davidson Homes is preparing for demolition site work for Phase II of the North Ridge Subdivision.
2. Everlee Parkway Subdivision, Phase I (Hoover, AL)
- Project Cost: $2,212,000
- Project Address: Everlee Parkway Phase 1
- Project: Addition Site Development. Everlee Parkway Phase 1.
- Owner of Project: Signature 150, LLC
- Contractor/Builder: Flanagan Contracting LLC
In the works since mid-2020, Everlee Parkway is an upcoming 882-acre mixed-use development located between Ross Bridge and Lake Cyrus in Hoover. Owned by Signature Homes & affiliate Signature 150, LLC, Everlee Parkway could contain as many as 2,344 residential units and between 250,000 to 500,000 square feet of commercial & retail space.
After receiving approval from the Hoover zoning board, Signature Homes is moving forward on Everlee Parkway & getting the site ready for development.
