In November 2021, Brookwood Baptist Medical Center broke ground on a brand-new operating room (OR) center. The $20M development is part of Brookwood Baptist’s master plan to redevelop their surgery program—replacing the current operating rooms with 13 brand-new, state-of-the-art OR suites. Once complete, Brookwood Baptist’s new OR will be larger and be able to accommodate the latest in technology for those in need of surgery.

Brookwood Baptist Medical Center anticipates the new OR to be up and running by 2023.
