Webb Building Redevelopment in downtown Birmingham

Constructed in 1871, the Webb Building is one of the oldest buildings in downtown Birmingham. In 2020, Birmingham’s Design Review Committee approved Ladd Real Estate‘s plans to redevelop the building—and the neighboring Colorado Loan Co. Building—to host retail and residential apartments. Once complete, the $2,666,000 redevelopment will transform the building into six higher-end residential apartments and ground-floor space for retail tenants. In addition to this project, Ladd Real Estate is renovating the former Family Dollar building on the same street.
