This week, 10 new building permits were issued in Alabama for construction projects exceeding $1 million. Of these new building permits, six are for projects in North Alabama, while two are in the Birmingham metro and two are projects in Prattville.

Grace Chapel Community Church

A new chapel is being built at Grace Chapel Community Church in Cullman. Ground was broken on the project in October and Eidson & Associates — the lead contractor for the new chapel — pulled the $7.9 million building permit on the project this past week.
