10 new million-dollar-plus construction permits approved in Alabama, April 4th

We’ve got the inside scoop on 10 new million-dollar-plus construction permits awarded to contractors in Alabama last week, including the renovation of The University of Alabama’s Angelo Bruno Business Library. The University of Alabama’s Bruno Business Library Renovation

Originally opened in 1994, the Angelo Bruno Business Building at The University of Alabama has not had a major refresh in nearly three decades—until now. The University of Alabama has closed the Bruno Business Library for a series of renovation and plans to reopen the library in Fall 2022.
The project will include new carpet, paint, ceilings, light fixtures and furniture throughout the library, as well as a new gender-neutral restroom and a nursing mother’s room. In addition, the project will create open, collaborative workspaces for small groups and update the computer lab. Upgrades to the network, sprinters and HVAC system will be made as well.
Although the Bruno Business Library’s physical location will be closed, the library will continue to offer its services to students during the renovations.
