Cerrowire, a U.S. manufacturer of copper building wire for a variety of applications, recently announced their plans for a massive Metal Clad Cable plant in the multimillion-dollar Morgan Center Business Park in the City of Hartselle, Alabama. A growing sector in the building wire market, Metal Clad (MC) Cable consists of insulated copper or conductive metals and is used in building construction—mostly in commercial, but with some residential and industrial applications.

Cerrowire’s Metal Clad Cable plant will be the first tenant located in Hartselle’s Morgan Center Business Park, a multi-million dollar business park in North Central Alabama that was completed almost a decade ago.

“We are looking forward to Hartselle being the strategic location that is a perfect fit for our major new venture and to the creation of over 130 jobs to support this growing community. The State of Alabama, Morgan County, the Tennessee Valley Authority, and City of Hartselle are excellent partners in creating an environment for our business to flourish. Our workforce is dedicated to our growth and the production of high-quality products.”
