The Smart Communities and Innovation Building | Tuscaloosa

The University of Alabama has begun the comprehensive interior and exterior renovation of the One North Building on the Peter Bryce Campus. The project will transform the three-story, 66,500 gross-square-foot building into the University’s Smart Communities and Innovation Building, which will become the new home for:

• The newly established Alabama Mobility and Power initiative (AMP), a partnership between the University of Alabama, Alabama Power Company (APCO), and Mercedes-Benz U.S. International (MBUSI).
• The Alabama Department of Transportations (ALDOT) West Central Regions Transportation Systems Management Operations
• The Alabama Transportation Institution (ATI)
