Located in Tuscaloosa, the Taylor Hardin Secure Medical Facility is a facility operated by the Alabama Department of Mental Health (ADMH) that provides psychiatric evaluation and treatment to criminally-committed patients and offers forensic evaluations to the Criminal Courts for the state of Alabama.

The Taylor Hardin Secure Medical Facility project will include a two-story addition with 96 new patients beds as well as the renovation of the existing facility to bring it up to current requirements.
